Lyle is Founder and President of Woodlands Enterprises, Inc. He oversees all core forest operations. His responsibilities include timber procurement, financing, sales and marketing. Lyle earned a BS and MS in Forestry from the University of Tennessee. He previously worked for Anderson Tully Timber Company in Mississippi and Georgia Pacific in Georgia. Lyle is a GA Master Timber Harvester and participants in continuing logger education. He lives in Rome with his two sons, Jackson and Boone.
John is Woodlands Enterprises Vice President. He works with private, corporate and municipal landowners in North West Georgia and North East Alabama. John earned a BS in Business Management from Appalachian State University and brings a strong business background to Woodlands Enterprises. He works with loggers daily to make sure Woodlands Enterprises and landowners expectations are being met and a high degree of quality is achieved. John is a GA Master Timber Harvester and participants in continuing logger education. John currently lives with his wife, Anna, on Lookout Mountain.
Ben joined the Woodlands Enterprises team in the spring of 2016. Ben comes to Woodlands Enterprises from Regions Bank where he was a Business Banker for the previous 6 years. Ben oversees the business operations of Woodlands Enterprises and its subsidiaries as well as the companies’ fuel bark business. Ben received a BS in Finance from the University of Alabama. He lives in Cartersville with his wife Theresa and children, Luke and Jane. Ben is active in the Cartersville community through his church, St. Francis of Assisi as well as other local charities.
Candace is the Office Manager at Woodlands Enterprises, Inc. She oversees all accounts receivable, invoicing, insurance compliance and landowner settlements. She insures that all landowner and logging settlements are timely and accurate. She assists with all accounts receivable, invoicing, and all fuel wood operations. Candace lives in Cartersville, Georgia.
Bill is the fleet manager for Woodlands Enterprises, Inc. He works to promote continuity of wood flow, safety, maintenance on trucks, accurate hauling records and DOT compliance. He is a Chattooga County native and lives with his wife in Subligna, Georgia.
